H.E. Mrs. DILLAH Lucienne

DILLAH LUCIENNE, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chad to India (11 May 2023-present)

Dear visitors, welcome to the website of the Embassy of Chad in India with Jurisdiction over the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Nepal, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, with residence in New Delhi.

During her long career, she has successively held the positions of Advisor for Social Action, National Solidarity and the Family, Advisor in Charge of Mission to the President of the Republic of Chad. She was President of the Economic City Management Committee, Mayor of Moundou (2008-2010), Minister of Culture (2006-2008) and Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs and African Integration (2005-2006).

Her Excellency Mrs. Dillah Lucienne also held the high technical positions of Press Officer to the President of the National Assembly during the 1st and 2nd legislature, Advisor, member of the High Council for Communication (HCC), Press Officer to the Prime Minister’s Office and Communications Advisor to the Prime Minister, Communications; IEC Officer at the National AIDS Control Program (PNLS), Development Research Associate at the Swiss Tropical Institute Chad, Social Communications Officer at the Chad Environment Support Office;

The Ambassador is a member of several human rights and civil society associations, including:

  • Member of the Global March against Child Labor;
  • Member of the Union of Chadian Journalists (UJT) and Reporter Without Borders;
  • President of the Communication Group of the Chad Non-State Actors Organization (OANET);
  • Research associate with the Enda GRAF and Enda Youth Action Senegal programs;
  • Ambassador for universal peace ;
  • Co-founder, Secretary General of the Foundation Grand Cœur (FGC) and Founding Member, Secretary General of the Chadian Ligue for the Fight against Cancer (LTCC);
  • Focal Point of the Organization of African First Ladies for Development, Chad section;
  • Vice – President of the Organization of Former Women Ministers of Africa (OFAMA), Headquarters (Benin).

Mrs. DILLAH Lucienne has over 30 years’ experience in senior positions in the Government. She is married and has 5 children.
